Two-thirds of Irish children are not getting the recommended amount of daily physical activity, according to new research published today. The research, undertaken by the Health Service Executive, safefood and the Health Promotion Agency in Northern Ireland, was unveiled at the launch of a major campaign by Minister for Health Promotion and Food Safety Mary Wallace aimed at tackling the problem of obesity in Ireland.

大家都学了好多年英语。可是都很难流畅的表达自己。不能畅所欲言，即使偶尔言之，也辞不达意。这其中的原因，是思维方式起最大的作用。
我们词汇量不可谓不丰富，我们掌握的表达方式也足和一名以英语为母语儿童的水平。可是我们是茶壶煮饺子，倒不出来。不光是说，写也如此。很难准确的表达自己的意思。这不能不说是思维方式的原因。
国内的英语培训方法各种各样，可是几乎没有对外语思维方式的研究。不知道别人是否如此，我自己，当我想说，想写的时候，总会不自觉的想到中文的表达方式，然后变成英文。即使有一些时候直接用英文写出，那也是因为这个句子，这个情景曾经遇到过。属于“挪用”，而非自发的写出来，说出来。
你想在博客中写下一句话，你似乎没有注意倒自己是如何思考的，你也没有注意到，你选择某个词表达自己的时候，是从自己的感觉和思维出发，而非某个词的意思恰巧复合你的要求。而你使用引文恰恰相反，是以词义描述自己的感觉。虽然这表面看起来没什么区别，像在直线上，从两个方向逼近一个点。从手段、方式、目的上，的确没什么不同，可是这两种思考方法是相向的，而不是同向。这就是最大的区别，这点区别决定了你应用语言的自由程度。这不同的方向，就是你思维的顺序不同。
